The MWARES project has been working towards restoring resilience and stimulating stewardship in the Manafwa watershed in Eastern Uganda. Using the PIP approach, local communities and stakeholders have been mobilised to tackle issues like forest degradation, soil erosion, poor farming practices and resource exploitation.
